AviarPress Publishes the Hottest Young Poet in Argentina - Gito Minore

(PRWEB) June 4, 2005

AviarPress, publishers of unusual works by unusual writers, has just released the first bi-lingual, English-Spanish edition of Argentina’s hottest, young, award-winning poet – Gito Minore. An intense and often disturbing work, “Ceilings/Cielorrasos” describes the captivity of one man inside his own skin. Gito Minore portrays the hunger, the pain, the loneliness and the desperation that drive his deepest feelings.

Gito Minore published his first book of poems Alternating Emotions/ Emociones Alternas in May of 1995, followed by The Broken Glass/La Copa Rota , Noventas (1996), Walking Alone (1997), Fire in the Chest/Fuego en el Pecho (1999) and Restrained Flowers/Flores Cohibidas (2004).

His poems also appear in a number of anthologies.

In July 2000, he was honored by the Literary Circle Mitre for his work.

Other poetry published by AviarPress includes Farzana Mpopn’s latest work: “Sufic Madness”, an exploration of the sensuous fantasies, dreams and mysticism of a deeply personal, private world.

Fire in the Chest/Fuego en el Pecho.

In 2002, his first audio CD was released with 12 poems read by the poet and music composed by Gustavo Zavala.
