On Oct. 18, 2012, the celebratory Latin American Food & Wine Festival will take over Mainstreet at Midtown, a beautiful outdoor shopping plaza filled with unique restaurants, art galleries and condos for sale in Palm Beach Gardens.
The organization behind the much-anticipated event is the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, which promises to transform Mainstreet at Midtown into a local version of the famed Calle Mayor. Chamber staff members and employees have been working for months on the event and have lined up an exciting itinerary for the evening.
Live music is one of the festivals signature offerings. Guests will groove to ranchera, mariachi, Latin pop, salsa, merengue and cumbia songs and instrumentals, and the five bands on the bill will have everyone dancing in the street. Who knows? The countys largest conga line might form!
More entertainment will be offered by performers from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, an award-winning regional venue set amid the beachfront condos in Jupiter.
The food factor is a major draw for visitors, as two dozen of the regions hottest restaurants are lined up to sell their savory samplings. One of the restaurants, Coolinary Caf
