Travel agents are invited to the presentation of our “Wines of the Andes” tour programs on October 14th 2004.

There will be a detailed presentation by the representatives of the wineries and Aymara Wine Tours in Mendoza Argentina.

Itineraries and programs can be reviewed at our website were Travel Agents are encouraged to register through the email registration link.

A lucky participant will win a trip for two on our Itinerary A program with round trip airfare provided by Aerolineas Argentinas. The Program consists of; Itinerary A: Tour staying at Hotels –4 days, 3 nights

Day 1: Morning arrival and reception at the airport and transfer to hotel where we will meet the oenologist who will accompany us throughout the tour. At noon we will have lunch in a typical restaurant during which we will begin to familiarize ourselves with the local wines. After lunch and after enjoying a traditional siesta (nap) we will take a city tour during which we will try to immerse ourselves in the local culture, a key aspect in understanding the wine production process. Our tour will end with an introductory lecture lasting about two hours, in which our oenologist will explain the technique of wine tasting and will introduce us to the world of wine, wine production techniques, the importance of the cork and the correct way to handle a glass in order to taste wine. After the lecture, optional dinner with guided wine tasting. Return to hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast we depart for the fertile Mendoza oasis where we will visit the Rural and López wineries. We shall have lunch at the Agricola, Family Zuccardi winery where we will enjoy a selection of delicious Argentinean meat (goat, veal, pork and lamb) accompanied by house wines and folk music. After lunch we will visit the Viniterra winery. As the sun sets behind the Andes Mountains, we return to the hotel. Optional dinner in the Wine Bar with guided wine tasting.

Day 3: After breakfast we depart to visit the Nieto Sentiner and Viña Amalia wineries. Return to the city. Afternoon at leisure. Optional suggested afternoon programmes.

Visit the Fabre Montmayou and Doliom wineries (or others of interest) Excursion to Villavicencio (mineral water spa)

In the evening we will enjoy a farewell dinner at the well known 1884 Restaurant owned by the famous international chief Francis Mallmann or at Azafran Almacén de exquisiteces Restaurant.

Day 4: After breakfast, hotel checkout and transfer to airport end of our services Mendoza – Argentina

Film Festival Week LA Gears Up To Launch Its Inaugural Showcase of Films, Webisodes and TV Programs

Perhaps one of the most ambitious independent films events in the U.S., the newly created Film Festival Week LA will be held April 11-19 in Hollywood, CA. The event comprises four unique film events and will screen a wide array of films, webisodes and TV programs from all over the globe, exclusively at Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Ave, Hollywood (Chaplin Building). An Opening night kick-off party to welcome participating filmmakers will take place on Wednesday, April 11 at hotspot Confidential (424 N Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills) from 7pm- 11pm.
