PowderQuest, operators of guided South America ski and snowboard tours in Chile and Argentina for 14 years, announced that they have partnered with pro snowboarder, Shin Campos to lead two trips for 2012 into the northern Patagonia Andes of Argentina. Shin was recognized as a Living Legend of snowboarding, has been living the endless winter for years and most recently was asked to be a judge for the NBC-Red Bull Supernatural Snowboard contest that Travis Rice created.
The unique 8-day trip itinerary connects three Argentina ski resorts and highlights local knowledge, amazing terrain with a cultural connection. Explore the legendary town of San Carlos de Bariloche and Cerro Catedral resort, riding high above the Nahuel Huapi Lake surrounded by the Andes and endless terrain. Bariloche ski base and town are famous for great nightlife from local cafes with live music to energetic nightclubs, bars and casinos. Ride Cerro Bayo like a local and explore some of the best terrain in the area with no one around. Spend time in San Martin De Los Andes with a real ski town feel and check out all the best parts of Cerro Chapelco. The trips goal is to enhance the participants freeride mountain snowboarding skills using Shin and his expertise to lead the way.
